Marco Silva: Fulham head coach in advanced talks with Benfica


Fulham head coach Marco Silva is close to reaching an agreement to take charge at Benfica.

Silva’s contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire this month but as yet there has been no official confirmation of the 48-year-old’s exit.

Fulham have offered their Portuguese boss a contract renewal but he is yet to accept.

And it is understood discussions have progressed significantly between him and Benfica in recent days, with an agreement within reach.
